Difference Between DoS and DDoS Attack.

DoS VS DDoS Attack.

1] DoS Attack

-DoS full form is Denial of Service.

-In a DoS attack, one computer and one internet connection is used to flood a server with packets, with the aim of overloading the targeted server's bandwidth and resources.

-This is the attacker sending a new request for fake information again. In this way,the server resources are exhausted until is paralyzed.

2] DDoS Attack

-DDoS full form is distributed denial of services.

-DDoS Attack, uses many devices and multiple Internet connection, often, distributed globally into what is reffered to as a botnet.

-A DDoS attack is,therefore, much harder to deflect, simple because there is no single attackers to defend from,as the targeted resources will be flooded with requestes from many hundreds and thousands of multiple sources
